How could the Lanathon have been any better? Great games, meeting the faces online, drama and of course the $500 first prize. The Lanathon was the home of 13 teams battling their way in a double elimination bracket. Apart from those 13 teams participating, many came out just to watch the tournament, which caused the spectating of games to be of great interest as well.

The tournament was unusual as teams did not get to come with whomever they wished, but team captains were there to pick the teams. The team captains were chosen by the tournament head, MilkFat, and were then able to pick two players to join them while two others were randomized onto their teams. The teams were fair for the most part though some were noticeably stronger then others, while two got crushed.

The tournament started late, which later effected the end of the tournament but the first games were exciting non the less. However once round two came along, the drama began!

Apparently team captain EG.DeMoN and Chouji decided before the tournament began to try and swindle the tournament just like online! Chouji disguised himself using an alias (Embrace) as no one knew what Chouji looked like apart from their friends. After the second game ended with DeMoN's team once again taking a win, someone told MilkFat that the player playing under Embrace was actually Chouji. Of course a whole scene started with everyone wanting to get in a say, but in the end MilkFat decided to disqualify Chouji and place him with a subpar player by the name PanMan as well as force DeMoN's team to replay their last match.

Getting away from the drama for a little while, Bkid's team has been dominating the tournament thus far. Every match they played they were able to beat their opponents in a convincing manner, quickly allowing them to take the winners bracket along with a spot in the championship. In the lower bracket, DeMoN's team had to undergo game after game to try and get a place in the championship. After defeating Raider's and SunCrusher-'s team, the championship was set. Bkid and DeMoN's team would battle their way for the money and of course the e-Fame.

Once the finals were set, the drama erupted! Howies game shack would have to close its doors in 30 minutes, thus not allowing a finals game or games, since Bkid's team would have to lose twice. Ideas were flying from everywhere on how the game would be played, but MilkFat was unable to come to a decision. MilkFat told Bkid and DeMoN they should 1v1 for the finals as it makes sense that the finals match needs to be played. DeMoN would have to defeat Bkid twice, while Bkid would have to beat DeMoN once. However, that idea was shot down by Bkid. Then MilkFat offered a "final decision" idea, which would force iGravity and DarkFire_ to play the 1v1 instead of the two captains, however that "final decision" was somehow shot down by Bkid's team as well.

In the end, MilkFat had all the team captains decide if the 1v1's would be played, or if the win should be given to Bkid's team for the whole DeMoN and Chouji incident. The captains voted in favor of Bkid's team which was able to take the $500 first prize, and dropped DeMoN's team out of the finals with only one loss.
