It's GoSu sat down with one of the newest members of their team to talk about his name, his gaming, and his life in general.
How did you come up with PAINTITGOLD?
I had to make a new nickname for Garena and I was listening to the album "When life gives you lemons you paint that shit gold" by Atmosphere. I had to hurry because I was ringing in a tournament and went with PAINTTITGOLD, and stuck with it. I also use PAINTITGOLD as a motto, you don't want to half-ass anything, if you're doing something, go hard and put your heart into it
After being with It’s GoSu for a month, what are your thoughts on your teammates as well as the team’s overall performance so far? What are some suggestions for improvements?
I think it's safe to say we're all disappointed by our performances in the last month, despite coming top 6 in infused, we weren't happy with the way we lost to western wolves. They used a spectre strategy that we haven't dealt with before and it was kind of a surprise strategy win on their part. Despite that, we were fresh as our team's 5 and had pretty decent results for a team that picked up their 5th the day of the tournament. We asked Bdiz to play to see how it went with him as our 5th, despite that we had an okay showing but I think our potential wasn't reached. We also played DotA-brawl where we played team INFS round 1 and dignitas round 2, beating them both, we considered dignitas the strongest team on our side of the bracket. After beating them we lost to NEXT-kz which was a really disappointing loss as well, because we really wanted to qualify. Despite that, we learned a lot from those games, and we're looking forward to the next tournaments we're going to be playing in. All in all, with the latest two additions of Bdiz and I, we're a fresh team and as such we have a lot to improve on.
