Draskyl interviews Quantic.Korok for Prodota2 league, including questions about Quantic's recent elimination from The International 2 qualifiers.

Unfortunately for North American DotA fans, Quantic was knocked out of the TI2 qualifications by mTw. Do you blame this on a lack of practice or did mTw just play well?

mTw played a very safe and conservative style and didn’t leave very many opportunities for us to catch them off guard. However, I feel like our team has been in a rut ever since the middle of May, and we are far from our strongest form.

Which teams are you looking forward to meeting or facing the most at Dreamhack?

Evil Geniuses. Who doesn’t want to face the Bulba invoker or Universe’s long lane earthshaker? I have to show love for our ‘rivals’ and fellow Americans.Some teams besides Quantic have been struggling recently with the release of some new titles.

this aint directed to korok specifically, but

PSA: CKs competitive lifespans gonna be like 1 week

just cause shits broken in dota 1 dont mean its imbalanced in dota 2

quantic's main issue is that their lanes are easily predicted. Most of the games i've spectated is korok mikey on short lane, lhm jungle, pig mid and solara offlane. sometimes they transition into dual mid lhm jungle pig short lane and solara offlane. so it's easy to just wait until they pick their heroes to counter their lanes.
I feel it will be more effective if they do consider placing a long lane trilane specially when there is an am on the other side. Trading farm and just having a better mid game does not always result in wins.

PSA: Stop using the terms "short lane" and "long lane". The safe lane was originally the long lane, and the off lane was the short lane. Now everybody's gone and mixed it up and nobody knows what anyone else is talking about anymore (I blame HoN players ). But given your context, yes, I was able to figure out what you meant.

They've done agressive trilanes before, not sure if you've ever watched their games listening to your post (AkA). Also, do you consider Na'Vi predictable because dendi is always mid, LoH is always suicide lane, puppey is always jungle....obviously people are going to have roles. I agree their PICKS makes their lanes predictable, but if you know any team, they have their played generally playing the same role every game.

Nice subtle flame on the team as well. Stop playing 'other games' and start acting like a top team.
