North American DotA - ECAL Adds Beliebers, Quantic Confirms Roster Changes

The Elite Cyber Athlete League (ECAL) has added their very own team, formerly known as Beliebers. A rather new team on the scene, Beliebers quickly made a name for themselves by making their way through the ECAL Americas League open qualifiers. They passed through the group stage and have now qualified for the 8-team playoffs.

Tejus "KiLLiN" Patel, CEO of ECAL e-Sports:

We are really very pleased with the signing of belieBers who we feel have potential to do well down the road. With our e-Sports arm we were primarily looking for a team that was stable and rising, but not necessarily one of the best teams. We feel there is potential in the semi-professional community and we wanted to get a team that had the ambition and talent to make that push to the top. We are looking forward to realizing the bright future of our new e-Sports arm.

Quantic Gaming also officially announced their roster changes as of a few days ago.

Brax and

Matrim have replaced

Solara and

LastHitMagic. The new roster has already been playing together for a few weeks and have shown amazing results.

Brax is a well-known American players with little international experience. Primarily playing semi-carries, his individual skill has already proven to be a great fit with the rest of the Quantic lineup.

Matrim's achievements include a first place finish at Dreamhack Winter 2011 with the Wild Honey Badgers as well as previous play-time with Swedish teams DIPS and Blight. He also stepped in as a ringer for Quantic Gaming at Dreamhack Summer 2012 when Mikey was unable to attend. He will primarily play support along with Mikey.
