There seems to be a misconception about Spellsy here, hes a 2500 soloque player (equivalent to matchmaking/pubs) support player. He is in no way connected to competitive league of legends nor does he have a respected opinion. and to my knowledge he doesn't have a active stream, If he does its not very watched.
TLDR: hes a pub player and not skilled enough/connected in competitive league of legends.

who is that guy anyway
jing: first time i saw my girl
jing: i mumbled for like an hour
jing: i couldn't even keep eye contact
jing: and she was like "can you speak up"
jing: and then i just fucking left
jing: i tried eating the girl out but i had no idea what i was doing
jing: i felt like she faked moans or w/e
jing: cause i had 0 idea of how to eat a girl out
jing: i flicked it with my tongue
jing: but eventually it got kind of repetitive and i had no idea what to do next
jing: what a fucking horrible story

Cooldoggie, even though you are correct in a lot of what you said... why did you say it? spellsy was just defending league of legends and the points he made were very accurate.
Like spellsy said, the highest level of play is very static and it got boring for me after being there for a few months. I had to resort to akali support etc to even entertain myself.
Like he said, When you are at the highest level the game comes downy to outplaying constantly. Making ever single trade count and not missing cs. The game is nowhere near as dynamic as Dota, but playing at the highest level isn't as easy as all you kids are making it out to be.
Let league pave a way for e-sports. DotA2 Valve doesn't need to be the first to fund people's salaries, but if league of legends gets that it will push Valve more.

League of legends is no where near as simple as people make it out to be, it's much easier mechanically but there's alot of team play aspects that most people who haven't played extensively won't know.
As to WHY I said what I did was because he is flaming people WAY better than him in his respective game, he has 0 competitive experience and comes and talks shit about the captain of one of the longest running teams in the league of legends scene.
It's like a pubstar dota player calling Synderen or ppy bad, the time and effort they put into this game with their teams is unrivaled and its flat out wrong

Ocelote isn't that great, but he isn't mid tier trash so you are correct there.
spellsy did you guys beat mtw.na yesterday?
Anyways,
Spellsy has competitive experience. He has played in many tournaments and at his elo he plays against the same top players every game. Too call him out as much as you did was just uncalled for.
Cooldoggie was right in the regards that spellsy isn't in a position to call Ocelote mid-tier.
League of Legends is very easy to become good at, but being the best of the best and then developing a top team is not.

? 2/3 of his post was calling dota players insecure about lol while he frantically tried to refute anything negative said about lol in this thread
the salaried players thing and more structure in esports is cool but i'm gonna wait to see how it goes before calling it an amazing/crazy step for esports. for all we know riot could be overstepping here and it could crash and burn, giving other companies reasons to not try and set something like this up in the future.
tbh, i don't know what valve doing something like this in dota would even add to my enjoyment of the scene as a fan. there's already a million dollar tourney and these guys play/ have played the game a ton anyway, so it's not like there needs to be more motivation for them to try. plus livestream coverage and vods available after has gotten plenty good enough for anyone to follow the scene easily.
i guess it's nice for pro lol players is all i get out of this article...

Spellsy, lets be real here, LoL isn't deep. If it was deep, it wouldn't have the same laning setup in every game from -2000 elo to 2000 elo, to lvl 1 mm games to lvl 30 mm games. The game is so stale.
I enjoy playing the game, I think riot did a good job on targetting an audience and delivering. Yes I prefer dota but LoL is still fun and riot doing this is huge for esports. Not to mention these players already have 10k viewers a day, they gonna be making bank.1:09 AM - DiSMeK: damn bro its the ganked sniper
1:09 AM - DiSMeK: that shits more legendary than yaphets sf

In all srsness who cares abt LoL its a joke of an esport but it pushes valve to do well for competitive players and the sceneLast edited by ratchet fuel bro; August 9th, 2012 at 11:20 AM.

THATS NOT OCELOT
ROFLR FORLFORLFORLFORRLFORLF
its some guy from alternate or w/e who no longer does anything.
he was a mid tier player who got invited to iem because some other team dropped out then wcg cause its wcg
e: also i never claimed to have competitive experience (although i would personally consider myself to have some experience.. but not "lan experience" - setting up that keyboards and shit and all that jazz).. if you actually read the whole point of that statement was that COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE DOESNT MATTER.. you cant take 1 persons opinion out of thousands and use it as the bible for what 'everyone' thinks.Last edited by speLLsy; August 9th, 2012 at 12:23 PM.
