Medallion has been a staple core for my Lycan for awhile now and have found it to be extremely useful early game. It's a 1k item that give a good amount of mana regen + rosh capability early game. Depending on the situation, I would either sell it or keep it until midgame then sell it lategame.

There are two types of viable boots on Lycan. You can either go treads for the AS or phase for the phase. More than not I will go treads in pubs/casual games because it scale better lategame. However, if I ever do decide to go phase it means that my team is at a big disadvantage early game and need towers/tf golds asap.

Necrobook is a very situational item in my opinion. Very rarely do I feel that it's necessary for my Lycan early/mid game(I still make it anyways because I can). There are a few reasons why it's not good-1 being it obviously doesn't scale well lategame-but the most important aspect is that it's a shitty stat item. You're spending 5k for a 80 cd item that doesn't even scale well into late game and selling it is a big waste. Of course you can debate whether the pushing power outweigh it's effectiveness but it still stands as one of the shittiest item in the game to make on Lycan.

There are also better builds if your main objective is to take down towers asap but I'll leave that for another time.

Very rarely-if at all-will I play seriously with Lycan but even I cringe a little when I make necrobook + treads because I know I'm screwed lategame if I can't end the game in the next 10 minutes.

There aren't many heroes I can play sadly. The only heroes I know how to play are AM, Void, Clinkz, and Lycan.

I can also play PoTM & Techies but I don't think you really need a guy for these heroes :/

Don't do that. You're practically throwing 500 gold away that way. It's either Tranquil Boots > Vlads + BoT or straight BoT.
