SECS 3.0 - MAKE SURE TO READ. NEW INFORMATION!!

Hi. As a result of the repeated use of ringers/multis/lack of effort here in SECS, there are going to be a few changes here.

1. Core players for all teams now start fresh. You will now sign up with 2 core players and a minimum of 3 "other" players. The use of any player not on your list will result in an instant disqualification, a one week ban, and the loss of 5 points. In the event of an emergency, you may contact me or another tournament official via IRC at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your next match and you will be allowed to use ONE player not on your list. This player may not be on the roster of another team in the week and may not be a core player for another team. Each team may use one international player unless they are a South American team that has been invited. Failure to follow this rule will result in an instant disqualification, a one week ban, and a loss of 5 points.

2. The points system will be reset. Brackets will be done using the point system as a guide but will not completely determine the seedings. The point system is the same as before. You get one point per win IF YOU SEND IN THE REPLAY. You also get a bonus point for winning the tournament. If a team wins back-to-back SECS, they will receive 3 bonus points.

3. Here comes the fun part! The top 5 teams in SECS at the end of this season will receive a prize IF they attend our NADotA Lan Event this summer. As i'm sure I will be doing some of the organizing for the event, I will be sure to make it worth your time to give it your all each and every Sunday.


Reminder: IP checks are commonly done on signups. Any player caught trying to sign up using a multi will be disqualified from SECS indefinitely.
