I build my sniper like a tank destroyer that's ready to roll into battle.

I've heard some people saying he's decent as a support this patch. Dunno about it, might work in mid 4k to 5k or something.

The idea seems to be max Shrapnel, get point in headshot, then max take aim 2nd. You roam and use shrapnel to help get kills. As game progresses get Dragon Lance and Desolator so you can stand far out of fights, get shrapnel and debuffs on targets and contribute some phys. dmg. yourself.

jungle sniper works pretty well, only works on dire side though afaik. you'll farm a 7-8 min midas, i'd have to fuck around on radiant to give it a shot but the main problem is the terrain.

ROFL kid had SB, treads, mom + level 13 at 14 min... Actually not bad. However sitting in jungle for 14 min is pretty bad.

heard from some unreliable sources that this hero is seeing a resurgence as a counter to od and drows
confirm/deny?
also is this hero a viable safe lane or only as a mid? been told he farms the neuts really fast with shrapnel in safe lane but havent tried.

Sniper can kill 8 stacks of neutral creeps @ lvl 5 if you have a support like vs willing to double stack two camps at once 4x it for you.

With that said Idk how this hero counter pa unless you have a team protecting you
