only reason you would max shackle over hex is to save mana but if you're ever in that position you'd be a core and you'd have arcane boots so thats not a valid incentive

A better debate is whether to go arcanes into blink or arcanes into ags. The damage increase from ags is enormous, but some games you need a blink first.

I mean, I don't think there is one game where a blink isn't nessisary.
So, you always going to get a blink, but it really depends on what time you actually pick it up. When in any other hero, foregoing the safety item and going straight for greed usually falls short especially in either a support or mid role.
The utility that is brought with blink completely surpasses the damage, in my opinion at least.
But you know what, I don't know how exactly it trades off. A farming rhasta+jakiro and 4 towers later I guess could equal a fast aghs and pathetically easy rosh.
Someone help, I can't fucking make up my mind.

This hero has like no arguements. Max Hex before Shackles, get one point in Shackles for another stun. 99% of the time you'll want Blink before Aghs.
"Oh sorry I didn't Blink-Hex their carry and win the game because I wanted to solo a tier two and die."

if ur ending the game pre 20 mins with ur international winning friends i think blink is worthless at the t3 push but i dont know if a support rhasta can support aghs even with the VG pre 15 min win conditions

I've found this hero to be perfect for any hero that wants to kill.
The hero isn't the best hero for damage, despite boasting a 140 damage nuke at lvl 1, the hero has a fantastic 2.5 second lasso at the same lvl.
If you plan to run a roaming duo with this hero and someone that can dish out the burst, the hero is a fine trilaner in the fact that the hero is never really in the trilane for half of early game. If you're looking for a more established trilaner, disruptor or bane might be better for you. For Tri v Tri, shoot for tanky as fuck heroes that won't quit

im keen to run earthshaker or maybe sand king with him, maybe a brew as the trilane farmer.
i think skywrath can be good with rhasta, but it gets way stronger at sky's level 6 because of his ult
i would be keen to run mirana + bane or mirana + rhasta but im concerned mirana folds to deathball push
i think necrolyte rhasta + some tanky stunner or burst hero ( maybe even abbadon) could be quite strong
