I honestly played both and i can say i prefer DotA.

But people aren't all the same, some will prefer DotA and some others HoN, it's just different for everyone :O

i hated hon 100% till i had about 60 games played and understanded fully the differences between the two games
hardest part was FUCKING CAST ANIMATIONS.. WHERE DID THEY GO? I COULD NEVER TELL WHEN SOMEONE WAS CASTING A GOD DAMN SPELL ON ME
