Hit 36 challenges, got the awful portal MTX.

MTX rewards have been really bad this league LOL.

So for science I decided to fully block and sextant shaped vault with my KB wander. Grand total to sextant everything was around 450 chaos close to the peak of sextant prices i.e. 8 for each red, 7 for each yellow, 3 for each white.

At first I was barely breaking even, then I bought a perfect goldwyrm and i was making money. Ok, great.

Then I borrowed a biscos from my friend, and I was getting an abandoned wealth drop almost every other map, and hoarders dropping almost every map. I can still clear pretty well, and if I cut out a ring for a perfect perandus I can only imagine the gains are going to be much better.

But then I got super bored and stopped playing. I got 2 chars now, a lvl 91 spectre necro and a lvl 95 wander.

If I build a mapping build again next league, I'm never doing vault again. If you want to run a shaped strat and you want to map fast, I think shaped channel is the way to go. When I was running it with one of my guild mates wearing IIQ, it was raining humility cards probably getting anywhere between 3-8 per map, poorjoys is also great to run, I was getting around 6-10 chaotic dispositions per ROTA, but eh... at running rotas.

you can try running Lair(t11) I've had a lot of success with it

you get a ton of fusings & the rigwald's quills div card drops there (I dropped 2 in 10 runs, dunno if that's really lucky or not).

I think I'm going to reshape my atlas for lair

self cast dark pact is the only way to play this game and they ruined it in abyss so I didn't play

to do it properly you had to run the frost sword with shield charge and shit which is NOT how you are supposed to play the build. you are supposed to go wand and full dps with flame dash

i will try the new league enough to see if the game can be played properly again or if it's still ruined for the sake of "balance" while everyone plays sunder/bladefurry/totem/flamestrike bullshit.

interesting changes on ascendancy, trapper might actually be playable next league since sab gets an additional 20% cd reduction on top of what he already previously had.

I think this league will be my first softcore character. Unstable internet combined with GGG letting reddit balance the game is going to make HC more frustrating than fun.

"Damage increase from a monster's rarity (Magic, Unique etc) has been made multiplicative with other Damage modifiers"

That's some real bullshit. If softcore players are so upset about the game being easy why don't they just play HC? Instead we get a change that will mean you either re-roll every red map with multiple damage mods and logout any time you get beyond or you get one shot.

Should be a fitting change provided that GGG rebalanced base damage of blues/rares/etc accordingly, which they said they did in a recent forum post. We will see though
