thanks for the advice, i wouldnt want you to help me look tho. one of the reasons ive been working on projects is because most of the classes ive taken are math/theory based so i wouldnt wanna be a liability somewhere because i dont have experience

show that ur a capable individual and you can definitely find an apprenticeship/jr developer position. i recommend it over others because its easy to go from college to stupid corporate position fixing 10-15 year old bugs but if u wanna enjoy ur programming career u should really learn the new hip languages college doesnt teach u and u can do that thru some jr-related thing. and itll look really good for the 2nd time ur looking for a job

im a developer in chicago working for a dev shop that recently was acquired by a startup (basically a seed accelerator) to develop for other people. We like get contracted by startups that are usually pre-Series A to help develop their product until it's in a stable, ready-to-launch state. i do mostly rails atm
