    Anyone have a way to bind a key to toggle quickcast on and off? I rarely use it but prefer it on some heroes with all single-target abilities. Lion for example.

    u might be able to setup something where you bind a bind command but idk if the engine supports that

    if u mean binding it so q is normal and alt+q is quickcast for example, u can just do that in the settings menu

    I bind normal cast as alt+q-r and then do quickcast as q-r. Same for items (except c and v where I put my boots and tp where it is reversed).

    I believe that's why most people toggle it on/off with a hotkey. If it's on all the time it's kinda fucky from what I understand. I don't use it myself so I can't comment on the overall effectiveness of it even when toggling with a hotkey.

    It's probably a bit faster/precise but I haven't taken the time to get used to it. Not sure if there's any real disadvantages.

    disadvantage is when you have 1 enemy creep and 1 ally creep next to each other and you accidently right click the wrong one

    then the creep equilibrium goes in the opposite direction

    Yes! I was thinking that you had to do separate binds for each key like that and another bind for the toggle to make it work. I will try it tonight.

    0Ld I have tried that before (saw it in a waga vid) but that's just one more key to press.

    I used to use 2-7 as normal cast and q-r as quickcast, but I think I like pressing alt+key better for normal cast.

    Apparently dota_player_auto_repeat_right_mouse 1 is now considered a cheat on the TEST client. Gonna have to fight for runes and courier control the gold old-fashioned way.

    1. does the autoattack setting retain its value in your next game (after toggling it from a previous game)?
    2. if the above is true (does it retain its value if you restart your client)?
