I would think higher mmr is more influenced by amount of games played vs position being played.

I would imagine as long as you maintain around 52+ % bare minimum winrate you'll probably climb mmr if you play a lot of games.

I imagine 9k is achievable in na on any role, and it's probably pretty easy as 4.

queueing only a few games a day during primetime, game selecting, not throwing, and doubling down is probably all someone needs if they're actually good

thought he meant dodging, dodgers are awful. what u described is kind of a less awful way to dodge i guess, doesn't waste 9 people's time

replace 5 with the number of dota games you've ever played and I think you're on to something.

by about 300 mmr at all tiers. I did the math with the data set dumped on reddit. technically it's more inflated in the top 1%, but 300 is a good estimate

I gained mmr from 5.5k to 6.3k playing support in like 80 games. as long as you're not the highest mmr player on your team, you can win consistently.

The most winning strategy is to go safelane and put an obs/sent near your hard camp (obs to watch it, sent to make sure they dont block it). harrass out the offlaner and stack the hard camp for clears as much as you can. If you can get level 6 by 9 minutes and give your safelaner a free lane, your chance of winning goes up a lot.

best heroes - shadow shaman (by far), ancient apparition, vengeful spirit, warlock, silencer

When I'm not the highest mmr I support. When I'm the highest mmr, I usually offlane.

there's no way it's this insignificant.

I meant both choosing game times and dodging, I never really did either but they both increase your mmr
