    Malwarebytes Antimalware
    Microsoft Security Essentials
    Adblocker
    NoScript

Works great for me. I could probably get by without the Malwarebytes but w/e.

There's no secret blend of AV software or anything that will keep you from getting infected.

Just don't be a fucking retard.

I usually don't run any AV unless I'm testing it out. Recommendation for family/friends is currently MSE.

Running Google Chrome with Adblock+ is helpful. NoScript is also nice (I <3 Steve Gibson).

MBAM is probably the best passive scanner out there, but it's not as good as it used to be. It's nothing special. Heck, I'd probably say if you have a virus, that Norton Power Eraser is a more effective tool than MBAM.

Honestly, nadota has been overrun, or grown, or whatever you want to call it so it's no longer a little club, but a big fucking commercial/public site. Go 100% with it. Make money off ads/wongs/a store. Put streams up. Do your own content. Stop trying to hold on to the notion that we can keep the close knit club we have historically been, because it's gone at this point (and I think you know it too spit)

I try to solve the problems best I can before going to someone else. I called my ISP and pretty much confirmed it's them.

I have an appointment scheduled for monday, but I have a shitload of matches on sunday (tomorrow). There's a ton of packet loss while playing HoN making it very hard to play, on top of constant DC's already, but the only option left is to do the best I can.
    no animated sigs

Hey man, if it's still bad tomorrow, I'm in town this weekend and I can pick you and your computer up and you can play your matches at my house. Msg me on facebook or something if you are interested.

You can always try checking whatever wiring you're comfortable checking, but yeah ISP issues are a bitch and it sounds like you've already troubleshooted it yourself. I had an issue where the internet would cut out randomly, sometimes be ok for a month, sometimes cut out every couple hours. It lasted 3 YEARS of people coming out (30 times probably) before one tech realized that it was the phone wiring for the entire house that was done incorrectly when the house was built. He went outside to the box under our deck, fixed some stuff, and it fixed the issue.

Thats nothing, my internet was really shitty at one point, so I called the ISP guy. After I talked to him and he came to my house and did the trouble shooting he told me that it was the entire subdivision. He said that the entire area was fucked and that it would cost to much money to fix lol.
