    Ho-shit.

That is some intense political rhetoric. I wish there was a candidate that could feel so strongly on things I support like this, but didn't also wish to dissolve almost every government agency and completely deregulate businesses.

    Re: imagine

yea, what are you going to do with all of the troops when you're not using them to invade other countries? then you got a bunch of dudes who are trained to kill and have no other skills just chilling in america unable to find jobs like the rest of us when they are honorably discharged.

also, I heard imperialism is how our computers and clothes are so cheap. nahmean. I know most of you kids live with your parents still because you guys got social anxiety and shit your pants when you see the sunlight so it's easy to talk about making sacrifices when you're not the one that has to do it, but some of us got rent and other shit to pay.

ron paul is like santa clause, very feel good concept to believe that every night some dude flies around the world giving gifts to all the children that are deserving and ditches the bad ones, but we know that's not the reality, good kids = people with parents that got money or give a fuck, bad kids = ppl with poor parents or parents that don't give a single fuck about their children and reenact oliver twist every day at their house.

    Re: imagine

i wonder how many politicians claiming to be different than the status quo have to be elected before people realize that parliament doesn't change jack shit. Especially in the united states where both serve the same people.

Funny thing, is that if you actually intimately knew any soldiers, you would never make a statement like this. Most are more qualified and disciplined to work in the civilian sector than 90% of the people here.

while our military occupation might not be 'justified' it does do some good which people that are anti-war don't want to even talk about, however some people will argue that you cannot put a price on human life, but I disagree with that. human life is pretty expendable and it's pretty easy to make more human beings.

    Re: imagine

I think that you can definitely put a price on a human life. That price is just nowhere near the negative value of potential unemployment.

I'm convinced by my major to think this as well.

Everything in life has a value. Everything can have a greater or lesser value than something else.

Since its creation, monetary currency is what society uses to measure value. Anything that has less of a value than the entire sum of currency in the world can be given a "price".
