    problem with my steelseries xai

    I'm also using it with a 9HD mousepad (if that may be relevant)



    okay so basically the little black thing surrounding the laser has all these little cracks and crevices that hair and dust keeps piling up in

    eventually one of the hairs will work its way into the laser and fuck shit up
    I have to individually pull them out with tweezers/scrape out the dust around the laser like every few weeks, but this shit keeps happening

    anything I can do?

    those cracks/ridges are on basically all mice...

    just dont have a nasty ass mousepad would be my suggestion

    buy a new mouse then. i'm a fucking disgusting slob, I ash all over my table, never clean my mousepad and i still never have had a problem using my mouse... something is up
