    NADOTA bodybuilding thread


    doesnt matter if you're amateur or advanced or fucking rocky

    just post stats and exercises i guess and advice for noobs

    i'm currently gyming 5 times a week

    monday - chest
    tuesday - legs
    wednesday - shoulders
    thursday - back
    friday - biceps, triceps
    saturday - rest
    sunday - surfing (for cardio and shoulders really)

    4 exercises per group, 8 reps, 3sets except friday when i do 3 for bis 3 for tris

    trying to do 3 protein shakes a day, morning, once before and once after gym.

    jing: but eventually it got kind of repetitive and i had no idea what to do next

    sometimes i do pushups (working on increasing max)
    sometimes i play soccer
    i live up a 10+ degree incline also so my calves own

    when i feel fat i do 20 situps 2 or 3 days in a row then i got mediocre 6-pack back and its good enough for me : )

    Lift M/W/F, Cardio T/R/Sa
    I just do the same upper body every M/W/F and throw in some squats on M/F. Been recovering from a knee injury for the past year, just got double foot surgery, and have had a bad back my entire life. Deadlifts are out, and I've been too scared to do lower body since my knee blew out last spring.

    I rarely go over 1000 calories. I should probably fix that.
    I never sleep more than a couple hours. I should probably fix that.
    I don't drink more than 32oz water/day. I should probably fix that.

    Most of my calories come from a before-sleep carb binge, which would probably be fixed by sleeping more.

    Anyways, my goal was to hit 225 bench by Jan 1. I hit that with relative ease. Going for 315 by 2013. Just bought some whey to help with that.

    Motivation is all about having a partner for me. When I started working out a year ago, I asked my roommate to join me. Whenever one of us can't make it, the other one tends to just skip it, too. If the other person is able and ready to go, it's a lot harder to say no. Lift days are just 45 minutes and cardio is 30, unless I play basketball, which is usually around 2.5 hours. Haven't been able to run since I got foot surgery two weeks ago, so I'm getting fat again.

    I completely stopped doing pushups. It feels so useless compared to the 3/week lift routine.

    I don't have the time to ever cook so I just grill chicken and put some avocados on that shit

    For all you guys doing the routines that only target one section per day: don't you feel super unsatisfied? I always do my whole routine every time I lift.

    Also, I lose progress if I don't do that. For example, I bench on MWF, but if I miss even one of those days, the next time I bench it's like I took a step back.
