    From a young age I could pop my left shoulder out really easily and my right slightly. it was never a problem but a year or two into lifting I got into DB Presses and it didn't take long at all for one of my shoulders to pop mid lift. Was an intense pain for like 20 seconds and then I was fine. I do OHP Press with the bar and do other shoulder accessory lifts, but I feel like I'm missing out not using DB. How do I not be a pansy?

    can u not do any type of shoulder raises with DBs at all? i'm sure theres many ways to build muscle while avoiding db press

    I can do it at really low weights with confidence. No db press above my headish exercise at the moment. incline is even scary with a bar sometimes. bench and ohp press with the bar isn't scary at all.

    I don't think ur missing much by avoiding db shoulder press

    ohp with accessories is prob more than enough

    I feel like if ur shoulders are popping mid lift though, you either have posture problems or bad set up before using heavy weight. cuz ur shoulders should be depressed down with your upper back tight as soon as you're starting the first rep.

    but u know ur body better than any of us. if db press feels risky then just do a more barbell ohp to make up the lost volume.

    slightly twaeked by deadlift form after my working sets. made shit so muche asier omg. banged out multiple easy sets of 365 for 3 after my wroking sets. FeelsGoodMan

    yeah my posture is probably shit from sitting on the computer all day slouched. been looking to do some standing against the wall exercises.
