Instead of SECS this week: ghetto tournament

Since SECS got cancelled, if people want to play a tournament I'll do a fabulously ghetto job of organizing it from this thread and trying to get asrmatt and whoever wants to cast it. We'll call it LEGS: Legato's Epically Ghetto Sunday.

Sign up here with your team name. Since this tournament is like Whose Line is it Anyway, where everything is made up and the points don't matter, just sign up with your team name. I'll throw you all into a bracket with arbitrarily or randomly determined seeding (and there's no way for you to know which it is, bwah ha ha), you can play your matches and report the results here or to me on IRC and I'll update the bracket etc.

Sign up is open until tournament start time, which will be the usual time for SECS (5:00 EST). I don't know what the normal round time is but I'm gonna say 90 minutes (i.e. please start your round 2 games by 6:30 EST, your round 3 games by 8:00 EST, etc.).

Edit: I decided to up the stakes by putting up a prize. Winner gets an epic MSPaint team sig created by yours truly. For examples of how great these sigs are, hunt through the SC2 board archives and find the one I made for the Zigrakil-insom grudge match.

Edit2: In light of the Steam being funky today, if it's not up/stable/reliable by tournament start time we may audible to WC3 DotA for teams that still want to participate. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that.

Edit3: For this tournament, the format will be Swiss pairings rather than single elimination. This means that every team will play in every round or will have at most one bye round. This is because LEGS is for fun and everyone should have as many chances to play DotA2 as possible!

ROUND 1 STARTS AT 5:00 EST AND RUNS UNTIL 6:20 EST. ALL ROUNDS ARE BO1.

This tournament is not single elimination. Every team will play every round until the end or they choose to drop from the tournament. If you choose to drop, PLEASE let me know here or on IRC (LegatoForReal in both #SECS and #nadota) after you finish your game for the round.

The format of the tournament is Swiss pairings. This takes the same amount of time as a normal single elimination tournament but gives every team a chance to play in every round.

IF YOUR GAME IS BEING STREAMED (it will say so in the pairings) PLEASE GIVE THE CASTERS TIME TO GET INTO THE GAME BEFORE YOU START. If for whatever reason you can't get in touch with your caster, PM me on IRC and I'll coordinate for you.
