    italy will be too demoralized to win, imo. it will be a deserved win for spain; they're playing well. they don't really deserve to be in the final, but at least they're making up for it.

    spain lucked their way past portugal, imo. they also ended up winning their group with some unimpressive games, which allowed them to play a pretty terrible france, but whatever. italy looked competitive for the beginning of the second half, but then it was over as soon as motta got injured. can't really fault them for that. it was our worst game since croatia/ireland, certainly, but i don't really blame prandelli/the ragazzi. only 2 days of rest + 2 injuries is insurmountable.

    grats to spain for staying classy and a good performance.

    (except torres fuck that overrated scrub)
